Describe an important occasion you have attended, such as a wedding or a
birthday party.
There are so many special occasions in my life, but if I have to choose, I’d like to
describe my 18th birthday. It happens last year. We had a party at my house. My
close friends came and helped me to decorate. We had a lot of balloons, candles
and flashing lights. Our party room was decorated magnificiently. That night, all
my family members and my best friends attended to congratulate on my special
day. Some of my relatives also came even though they were far away. Those who
can’t come, they sent me gifts and best wishes. My mother ordered a very big and
beautiful birthday cake for me, even the taste of the cake was made to my liking I
really appreciate that. I was very excited and I could feel their love for me. This
made me very happy. At the end of the party, on the led screen showed a video. In
the video are photos of me that appear over time, from when I was a baby to when
I was 17 years old. The photos had shown my growth, I could see the people I love
have been always be by my side, and then too. I was very surprised and touched.
And everyone hugged me. My dad said that I was old enough to make my own
decisions for my life and they will be always ready to give me advices if I need.
Then comes the gift-opening part. I have received many gifts, each of which means
a lot to me. That day will be a day that i will never forget in my life.
Describe a school you have studied in.
I’m going to tell you about my high school where I spent most of my beautiful
time as a student. My school is located in the center of Bacgiang city, it is a good
and famous school. I am very proud that I was able to get into this high school. I
studied there for 3 years. My school is very large with 3 buildings for students, 1
building for teachers, 1 building for library and 1 building for canteen and clubs.
Our learning environment is very good, we have a full range of learning aids and
they are all very modern, which has helped us a lot in practicing the exercises.
