Idea of Masculinity
In every day of our life, masculinity is associated a male biological sex and the qualities
associated with male specimen. Masculinity consists of the behaviors, language and practices
existing to particular cultural and organizational locations associated with males. Hence,
masculinity exists as a signification identity of male and as a negative identity to women as being
perceived by early society. The masculinity and male behavior are the simple product of genetic
coding or biological predispositions. Nevertheless, masculinities are understood more using the
social, cultural and temporal constructs rather than biological one. This paper analyzes
masculinity changes as perceived by Russell Sanders in regard to the expectation of the society.
