To properly analyze the ICEDELIGHTS case, I will use the Timmons model from
Chapter 3 to assess the fit and balance of the three main factors involved in
entrepreneurship: Opportunity, Resources and Team. I believe that this particular case
lacks both balance and fit, and that the opportunity is too large for the available resources
and not well suited to the team presented in the case. If I were presented with this same
situation, I would seek to correct this imbalance before proceeding, and if I could not to
my satisfaction, I would abandon the venture altogether.
The opportunity is attractive enough. They have a premium, highly profitable
