IAA to AGNR Transfer Checklist
For transitioning from the IAA to an AGNR B.S. or B.LA. Program
❏Email Glori Hyman (gdhyman@umd.edu) and copy your advisor to let them know you intend to apply
for admission. This is required to obtain a fee waiver code which you will need to submit your
application. If you do not obtain the fee waiver code, you will be responsible for the $75 application
fee.
❏Complete the Online Transfer Application through MyCoalition available from
www.admissions.umd.edu by the transfer early action application deadline (March 1 for fall, August 1
for spring).
❏If you have completed
30 or more credit hours at the time of your application and/or are part
of the Agriculture Forward program, you do not need to complete the high school course
section of the Coalition profile, submit SAT and/or ACT scores, or a high school transcript.
Please Note: The essay is required and you should respond
thoughtfully
and
thoroughly
❏Submit official copies of college transcripts for any and all classes not
taken at UMD College Park
(must be in prior
to the application deadline!) All transcripts should be sent directly to the
Admissions office.
❏Submit official copies of any AP/IB/CLEP test scores to the University if not previously submitted
