Theme: The theme is real friends accept their friend’s imperfections and this is shown
through the development of the characters.
I. Intro
A. Tobias Wolff was born in Alabama, and after graduating from Oxford, he
was awarded a writing fellowship at Stanford University in 1975. Tobias
Wolff’s ‘Hunters in the Snow’ is a story about three friends: Frank, Kenny,
and Tub, who are all on a hunting trip together once again since the year
before.

False Friend vs. a True Friend

awarded a writing fellowship at Stanford University in 1975. Tobias Wolff’s ‘Hunters in
the Snow’ is a story about three friends: Frank, Kenny, and Tub, who are all on a hunting
trip together once again since the year before. The theme is real friends accept their
friend’s imperfections and this is shown through the development of the characters.
The behaviors of a false friend can be seen through our character Kenny, who is
one of the bitter ones of the group that is abusive to both of his friends. The story starts
