A pandemic, or a global outbreak of a disease, is truly one unpredicted incident that can
affect the economy, businesses, and individuals physically and emotional. Currently, we are in
the mists of a global pandemic known as the Coronavirus or COVID-19. This virus has swept the
world quickly and has forced individuals to make rash decisions in hopes to not experience any
hardships during the time. For example, schools have been forced to close and take an online
approach and restaurants have resorted to curb-side pickup or closing the restaurant down. In
particular, businesses have been forced to diminish any human interaction due to the quarantine
act in pursuit to slow the spread of COVID-19. The lack of interaction has affected companies
financially because the demand for their product or service has decreased immensely; internally
because companies have been forced to downsize their employees or go on hiring freezes due to
