Self-Awareness through SAQ: A Reflection Paper

Assessing ourselves on a regular basis can be a form of self-care and getting to know
ourselves better. Even in the latter days, we have responded to surveys about interpersonal or
intrapersonal issues and then pondered on the results, which are either accurate or not. We are
also fascinated by it because some of it is untrue, but then a sudden realization hits that it is
correct, and through this, we are able to know ourselves and be more aware.
Upon taking this course subject, Human Behavior in Organizations, my first thought on
this is how individuals or a group of individuals adapt organizational culture, grasp behavioral
change, and be flexible in certain situations, especially in unfamiliar ones with unfamiliar
companions. After answering the four Self-Assessment Questionnaires (SAQ), I must say that I like
and agree with the overall results. In SAQ 1, it is about the assumptions that we make about
people and human nature. In this set of questions, my score was 28 for Theory X and 72 for Theory
