Most in today’s business world would consider the human resource department as the
backbone of the business and is involved in making important decisions that the company needs
to make. This paper will discuss a company that is nonprofit and has several issues within their
human resource department. There are several issues that need to be addressed and changed
because they were implemented by the old human resource manager.
Cultural Issues Needed to Address
The human resource manager that left the company had policies in place that hurt the
company and its culture. The Director of Regional Services feels that it is the human resource
manager’s job to keep all paperwork on employee’s current and help any employee that comes to
