New Boy
The short film New Boy was a very interesting film that many people in the world can relate you.
The short film starts up as a sad movie but shows the character overcoming the situation he was in. I
think that all of us have that experience in our life. Sometimes things happens that we can’t explain but
we overcome them in order to better ourselves. I think New Boy is a perfect example of determination
and will power. Joseph , the main character in this short film , had everything taken away from him. He
had to overcome the obstacles that were put in his life in order to adapt to the new environment he was
put on. In the short film you can see Joseph feeling very uncomfortable. It was as if Joseph wanted to go
back home to Africa.( Green). I don’t think Joseph felt very comfortable in his new environment. You can
clearly see that he was very shy when he first walked into the class almost as if he was afraid. His old
