Dear Dr. Domingue:
I am elated to submit my Formal Report for Technical and Business Writing to you. The
following proposal is carefully constructed by HR Results Co. – a fictional company with that
would ultimately be similar to the company I would aspire to work at upon my graduation from
Texas A&M University. The following proposal signifies the importance of incentivizing
employees. Implementing any program is costly, however, what you reap is what you sow.
Benefits of implementing this program far outweigh the costs.
This proposal is specifically for client company management and their staff. The premise of this
proposal is to encourage client companies to implement an incentives program for their
employee to increase attendance and work productivity. The incentive program can be altered to
accommodate the needs of each company and their employees. This all-access proposal will brief
client companies on the extent of implementing an incentive program within their company. It is
divided into two major sections: (1) research methodology and (2) costs and materials. The
subsections to follow further expand on distinct facets of the program.
Selecting this topic allowed me to heavily research my topic and present you this informative
guide with a passion. The incentive program outlined within this proposal is intended to strength
a company from the inside out. Ultimately, this proposal will aid in strengthening the core of the
business, which in turn will overflow in providing better customer service and increase profits. I
hope you enjoy this proposal as much I have by working on it.
Sincerely,
Michelle Wright
Informative Abstract
This proposal is an informative and instructional manual for HR Results Co. client
companies and their staff. To better service all clientele, the manual is written in layman’s terms.
It is inferred that client companies as a whole will have limited to no knowledge of the extent of
implementing an incentives program.
An incentives program is comprised of intricate details so the manual aids the reader in how to
execute the program properly to attain company goals. Essentially, the manual is geared to gauge
readers through its research methodology as well as costs and materials needed to make such a
program successful. With both major and minor sections, the manual is easily accessible and
convenient. By the layout and use of layman’s terms, an audience can gain an instantaneous
understanding of my proposal.
