HOW FINANCIAL ACCOUNTING RELATES TO ME 2
Financial accounting was a class that I believed would overwhelm me with
learning the ins and outs of accounting for business. What I quickly realized was not only did
this class not overwhelm me, in part to the great approach our instructor took, but also
because it was relatable to things in my life. I remember thinking going into this class that I
would learn stuff just for the class then forget about it because I would never again need to
use it in my life. My thought was proven wrong every week. The lessons on interest, was like
a refresher course on a class that we had took over year ago that covered it. It was nice to be
reminded of the formulas and the ways to come to the values of interest. That is something I
am going to need the rest of my life. The next car or house that I am about purchase I will go
through the interest rates from the offers with the formulas to determine the best ones.
