Housing Crisis in Pakistan:
This paper will focus on the housing crisis in Pakistan which exists due to limited supply of
housing units which is unable to cater to the increasing demand and inefficient state policies
which have failed to resolve this issue. By giving a detailed analysis of policies by the
Government of Pakistan especially related to housing finance and highlighting its flaws this
paper will come up with adequate solutions through several research papers and conducting
primary research on middle income strata and housing developers mainly based in Lahore.
Furthermore, this paper is going to evaluate policies in countries such as Singapore and India
etc. which have been able to pull themselves out of similar situations and take the help of these
