Customer loyalty is vital for every business since it ensures that your consumers
are engaged with your offering, loyal to you, and continue to pick your products
and services over your competitors (Kelly, n.d.). According to Forbes, “the single
most critical thing you can do for your organization is to start working on creating
actual client loyalty, one customer at a time.” The two hospitals in South Florida's
customer loyalty is key to the company's success.
Cleveland Clinic Florida has recaptured the title of South Florida's Best
Hospital from US News and World Report. Dr. Wael Barsoum, president and
CEO of the hospital, stated that the distinction “speaks to the quality of
treatment and universal commitment of all our caregivers to put patients
first.” A significant aspect in their success is having a slogan of putting their
clients first and earning their trust. Furthermore, they provide a system in
Southeast Florida that prioritizes high-quality treatment while working hard
to reduce expenses. According to Hurtbise (2018), the Cleveland Clinic Florida
was ranked nationally in two specialties: gastroenterology and gastrointestinal
surgery (25th) and orthopedics (42nd). It received high marks for cancer care,
diabetes and endocrinology, geriatrics, and neurology and neurosurgery. It
was also rated highly for nine common illnesses and treatments, including
abdominal aortic aneurysm repair, aortic valve surgery, heart bypass surgery,
heart failure, colon cancer surgery, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, hip
replacement, knee replacement, and joint replacement.
