Homophones/Homonyms
Words that sound the same out loud, but have different spellings or meanings are called
homophones. Although a homophone is considered a type of homonym, people often
confuse homophones with homonyms. Homonyms are words that are spelled the same,
and can have several different meanings. Whereas homophones have different spelling
and meaning. It is important to know what proper homophone to use when writing. Here
