In my personal opinion, people should not differentiate anything by exaggerated gender
norms. However, it would be hard to change every single person’s perception about it. In this
case, I support Debbie’s idea, because she offered something that is slightly different from
other toys in the market. She made these toys in a way that it will not shock consumers, but
arouse big interest. I think most customers will do some research, or just buy it to try because
of their curiosity. This will make a huge difference in the society, as of the revision of gender
norms. This is a great contribution in the path of gender equality.
