1. Summary of the Article
The article explains very well a situation that often incurred in a team work. You think that
because the University is not mandatory in a society and you are free to study or not whatever
you like all the people that began this journey are willing to do the best that they can to achieve
their goals. The reality is different.
Jack the character of the article is a great example of this. The hitchhiker is the classic guy that
never show up at the meeting, never answered, never finished his duties on time and all the
group, in this case, Mary and Henry have to deal with all the excuses that he’s going to find to
defended himself.
As the article stated, what the group did was Absorbing, a great word to describe a big error. In
simple terms: do the work that Jack didn’t finish or even worse that he didn’t start at all.
What the group should have done instead was Mirroring. The solutions proposed by the article
