in this war, but reality is that americans are divided, about whether to get involved or not. It

There are letters sent to FDR to help the jews, and to try to get involved. His hands are tied due
to the neutrality acts of 1935, 36, and 37.
1941- Lend Lease Act. Allowed the US to send military supplies to the English. This was the only
way they could get around the neutrality acts.
This marks a tremendous change in American politics. The majority of americans support the
Lend Lease Act. We are now actively involved on the side which we call the Allies.
The Japanese have been actively expanding in the specific. Japan has moved into Vietnam, and
is expanding their empire.
The US cuts off japan from shipments of oil, and steal, which japan relied on us for. When we
do that, we also just passed the Lend Lease Act. Japan concludes that we are their enemy,
because we are no longer supplying for them, and that we would be entering the war on the
