Introduction
The HighScope educational approach is a program that emphasizes more on active and
student based learning. HighScope learning includes components for different learners such as
infant toddler care, early literacy, movement and music, preschool and elementary education as
well as youth programs. All these programs come with a defined curriculum, content areas and a
system of teaching practices as well as assessment and training models. The program approach is
very flexible and easily adapts to each child’s individual needs. The following essay seeks to
