gender” mean? Please use the article by West and Zimmerman and put it in your own
words. What does it mean to be held “accountable” for doing gender
“incorrectly”?
Second, I’d like you to reflect on the documentary film “Intersexions” that was
linked in the Learning Module. What stories stand out for you and how do these
stories relate to “doing gender”? Please provide details from the film to demonstrate
having watched it.
Third, aside from the examples given in the PowerPoint lecture, give
2 specific examples of how you “do gender” in your own life. Try to be as detailed as
possible, and think of things that you might not have considered before this class.
Finally, do gender “wrong” in some way and see how people respond to
