THE EFFECTS OF
DIFFERENT
LEVELS OF
CARROTS IN
QUAIL (Coturnix
coturnix) ON EGG
YOLK
PIGMENTATION
02
RATIONALE
•For egg production and the richest
carotenoid content of egg yolk it has
to be suggested that using natural
carotenoids sources could be
preferable. However, the result of
the previous studies need further
explanation for the development of
poultry. Thus, this study is proposed.
03
Objective of the Study
•The study will be conducted to
determine the effects of different
levels of carotenoids in quail breeder
diets on egg yolk pigmentation, feed
conversion ratio, mortality rate and
income over feed and quail cost.
Materials To Be Used:
•3 6 six-weeks old Japanese quail
( Coturnix coturnix japonica)
•Disinfectant
•Electric bulbs
