King Henry VIII and His Six Wives
Catherine of Aragon, Anne Boleyn, Jane Seymour, Anne of Cleves, Kathryn Howard,
and Katherine Parr; divorced, beheaded, died, divorced, beheaded, survived. These six women
named are the names of the six wives of King Henry VIII of France. Although King Henry VIII
was known for many of his accomplishments such as the famous Battle of the Spurs and
separating from Rome to create the Church of England, he was mainly famous for his six wives
and the cruel ways he treated them (Henry VIII Accomplishments). It is widely known to be true
that the wives were rid of due to not producing a male heir to the throne but the individual stories
of each of the wives deserve to be known and remembered rather than just Henry’s point of
view.
