Hemingway and Chopin: Driving for Change
The world has always been a complex, fluid, and ever-changing place. It is no surprise
that one of the greatest accomplishments of mankind, the written word, mirrors and in some
cases, is the catalyst for that fluidity. Some authors push the envelope of their time, questioning
and probing both the norm and the taboo alike. Ernest Hemingway and Kate Chopin are two
such authors whose works pushed for changes in society.
