Bystander and Nonintervention (Darley and Latane):
• Study in which they asked college students if they were facing any problems.
• Participants were being seeing alone when discussing their problems and the
researcher wouldn’t be listening to their problems.
• The participants were using a mechanical switching device which would start and
stop as and when the next person’s chance to speak came.
• One participant experiences seizure- A Prerecorded voice.
• IV: The size of the group that the conversation was taking place in. Either in a group
of 2 (Participant and Victim) or group of 6 (Participant, victim and 4 others)
