Helicobacter Pylori
Introduction
Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) are a gram-negative microaerophillic and motile
organism seen to harbour approximately 50% of the populations’ upper
gastrointestinal tract (Hagymasi & Tulassay, 2014). Identified by Australian
physicians, Dr Robin Warren and Dr Barry Marshall, who both received the
Nobel Prize in 1982 (Fleming et al, 2007), H. pylori was seen to be the leading
