People are faced with difficult decisions every single day. Life and death
decisions are made all of the time. People withhold care that could save people and some
people are more than happy to help save others. The way that people are raised and
develop determine how their moral reasoning will change overtime. Throughout
adolescence, moral reasoning can and will change as adolescents develop and become
more exposed to moral discussions of a higher level.
About half of the adolescents interviewed are more grounded in Kohlberg’s first
