A healthy nutrition is a vital aspect in someone’s life, because if you do not have a proper
balance of what you consume then you can either make or break your body both mentally and
physically. There are six categories of essential nutrients and these count for the characteristics
of a healthy nutrition. The six categories are broken down to two categories of essential
nutrients, which are macronutrients and micronutrients. Macronutrients consist of carbohydrates,
proteins, and fats. They are required in the body in the greatest amounts and the need for
macronutrients depends on how much energy you expend. Micronutrients consist of vitamins
and minerals, and your body needs them in small amounts. The sixth category is water, it is
neither a macronutrient or a micronutrient. Water is an essential nutrient that carries nutrients,
maintains temperature, lubricates joints, aids digestion, and removes waste. The body needs at
