Health Care Trend Analysis – Fate of Obamacare 2017

In my summation, I think one of the biggest health care trends of 2017 will be the fate of
Obamacare and the health care of the 20 million Americans who are currently enrolled in the
program. Not only is the impact and importance of this legislation monumental to the future of
the American health care system, it is also a very personal issue to me. Having health insurance
through the Ohio Medicaid expansion enabled me to continue being in school and alleviated
hundreds of thousands of dollars in medical bills I would have had to pay being admitted for
Crohn’s disease several times. While many are conflicted on what the fate of this program will
mean for the future of our health care system and the 20 million people currently needing its
coverage, let’s carefully analyze this health care trend by studying several sources and make an
