Battle of the Senators

“Hell hath no fury like a bureaucrat scorned” (Friedman 2014). Throughout American
history, Americans have been known to fight for liberty and justice. Since then Americans have
taken such fights to the civil level of congress and court cases. For example, the book “The
Logic of American Politics” notes this bureaucracy consist of a “complex structure of offices,
tasks, and rules in which employees have specific responsibilities and work within a hierarchy of
authority” (Kernell, Jacobson, Kousser, Vavreck 2016). These employees include the likes of
bureaucrats like Senator Dianne Feintein and Senator Marco Rubio. In this case study, Senators
Feintein and Rubio will be introduced, as well as the doc fix bill.
From California, Senator Feintein is a well-known Democrat throughout congress, as she
