Throughout the previous six weeks of tracking healthy behavioral changes that I have
made, I believe that in accordance to the States of Change (Trans-theoretical Model), I
passed through the pre-contemplation, contemplation, preparation, to action stage all
within the first week. The pre-contemplation stage was made up for me, and given this
assignment, I was able to get the initial push to even begin raising consciousness towards a
healthier lifestyle routine. The contemplation stage being more around self-reevaluation,
which was helped made through the process of actually doing the assignment, where I had
to go through the process of what changes I would like to make, in a detailed, scheduled,
daily basis time frame. Which did not only give me a set routine which would hold me
accountable, it really made me focus in detail to what areas of my life I should be
changing, and what could I continue to make improvements in. The actual Action stage
took place within the first week, I actually was quiet successful in my detailed plan and
schedule. I didn’t make my goals too extreme, just slow transitions, which I think also
helped me not have any relapses.
During those previous six weeks, I did meet one challenge in particular, which was time. I
