1. Think through all of the factors that Harley considered when making their decision. What
factors would you be inclined to weight most heavily?
Reading the case study and analyzing the factors, the most weighted factors among all would
be as whenever the decision made the benefits and losses are always the first criteria looked into
with the approach of whether the gains are regarding quantitative or qualitative.
David Cottleleer: Before they chose the provider and made the decision they would like to
assess the work of the providers and the benefits and losses they would incur if they decided for
the particular company. Though even having the panel they wanted to complete the process and
also look into the performances and the operationality. (Pg10).
Every provider had the opportunity to rate evaluate themselves with regards to the quantitative
method, and the technology and process need outline by the firm in the functionality and
operationality with the technology of provider two being robust overruled the competition. The

providers’ understanding of Harley–Davidson’s present and future needs, their power to act and to
