Memphis, Tennessee. There have been many articles over violent shootings in Memphis,
but there is one that stands out from the rest. The title of the article is “The Gun Issue,
Again,” by the Memphis Flyer Staff. The article has many different writers and editors
which makes this article effective. Therefore, not just one writer can have all the credit for
the article. The title hints that the issue is a continual occasion in Memphis and
surrounding areas. Almost all arguments dealing with gun control are brought back to the
Second Amendment, and are done away with. The article starts with a fatal Memphis
shooting, school shooting in Connecticut, and then concludes by stating what should be
done for the better protection of individuals. The staff identifies these terrible incidents
dealing with guns to make citizens aware that it could happen to anyone, and that
something should be done to prevent these actions. It also speaks out to the government to
enforce new laws to help prevent these shootings in any way possible. With all the
