On the verge of exponential growth
Green energy is the “new” American buzzword. Whether you believe that humanity’s artificial
greenhouse gases are warming the planet or that the current warming cycle is due to natural
causes, one thing is for certain: green energy is here to stay, at least for now.
Renewable energy sources offer numerous benefits over traditional fossil fuel options, but they
suffer one significant defect: inconsistency. Three of the most practical renewable energy

time of day and weather. Many adventurous entrepreneurs have tried to normalize renewable
energy power supplies and have achieved varying degrees of success over the last few decades. A
brief Google search for renewable energy storage will yield a myriad of companies which have
attempted everything from electromagnetic locomotives utilizing gravitational potential energy to
pumped energy storage which uses solar powered hydraulic pumps to store water in elevated
reservoirs during the day, then release the water through turbines during off–production periods.
