Psycho
The 1960 movie Psycho, by Alfred Hitchcock opens with a lady named Marion and her
boyfriend, Sam Loomis. Marion is a young woman who lives in Phoenix and works as a secretary
in real-estate, while Sam lives in California and wants to marry Marion, but needs money to pay
off his ex-wife’s alimony. Marion is living in an isolated part of Arizona in the early 1960’s. The
other characters seen in this film are Norman Bates, the psycho son of Norma Bates, a weird,
creepy guy. There is a Private Investigator named Abrogast, who is on Marion’s case for stealing
