Personal Religious Autobiography
When I was a child religion in my household was a complicated thing at the time despite going to
a catholic elementary/middle school. I was not catholic nor any other religion at the time. My
parents did have a sense of belief towards God but decided it would be best to not encourage our
religion till I was older and would understand it better so it would not create trouble for me at
school. Teachers would sometimes give me failing grades for no reason because I wasn’t either
Catholic or an identified faith and that would end up with my mom meeting with the principal and
going into an all-out “this isn’t what I’m paying for” kind of deal. Growing up in this environment
