Abstract
Introduction
Due to the overuse of pesticides and herbicides we are now beginning to see
the environmental impact it is bringing around the world. scientists have proposed a
solution in growing genetically modified foods or GMOs in order to eliminate further
use of pesticides in agriculture and developing a seed that can fend for itself. The
process of selective breeding is involved in developing stronger more fit plants. Not
many people are educated about what a GMO really is, they assume that just because
something is inserted to their food and it’s not natural then it is harmful to them.
