Gloria and Fritz
1. I strongly agree that Fritz explained the theory well. He explained the sketch of the theory the
equation of awareness=present time=reality. He laid out what the patient should demonstrate,
and the suspected outcomes of the theory. He reflected the interaction between himself and
Gloria after the session, and explained the outcome, and observations very well.
2. I strongly agree that Fritz treated Gloria respectfully. He challenged the patient, and got her to
see how her initial views were skewed, and he got her to really engage in the discussion and in
self-awareness. He made the patient see common sense in her reactions and statements, and
to open up to him.
3. I strongly agree Fritz enacted his theory well, he kept the discussion focused and on course to
what he was trying to achieve, he used open ended questions and a lot of reflection questions,
keeping the patient engaged, and thinking of her responses. He focused on some of the
patient’s strengths, and began the initial trust relationship with the patient. He explained things
well to the patient. He let the patient respond anyway she wanted, even when she stated she
felt she was fighting with her husband again, and she wanted respect, Fritz explained how
genuine she just was, encouraged, and empowered the patient, focusing again on her strengths.
He kept the session timely, so not to overwhelm the patient, and it gave her time to reflect on
the session, and see that they had gained some understanding of each other.
4. I strongly agree he was interested in Gloria, he showed he wanted to understand her as much as
he could, he analyzed her statements, and looked at things through her view point. He really
wanted her to look at herself, and statements that she made. He wanted her to understand
herself, and how she viewed things throughout the discussion.
5. Yes, I would recommend Fritz as a therapist. He understands a patient, and knows how to get
the patient to engage in the session, and without being obvious, gets the patient to open up. He
allows a patient to engage in the way they feel they should, and to express themselves. He then
has the patient analyze the comments made, and see how it was either on par with him, or
different and then the why. I found him trustworthy and to have a genuine interest in helping
