Global Warming
The idea of global warming became prevalent when the world began industrializing. As
the popularity of cars grew and industrial factories began to spring up the air quality suffered.
The problem was not recognized because, aside from a few orange atmospheres, there were no
obvious effects. Although in this day and age we can see what global warming is doing to our
Earth, there are still those people who believe that humans are too small to make an impact.
If anyone had the time to look into it, people could easily see what is happening in our
world right now; glaciers are melting, lakes are drying up, and mountains are becoming barren. It
is not just a climate shift like some scientists would like you to believe, nor is it just a regular
occurrence in the grander scheme of the world. It is everyone’s doing. The burning of fossil fuels
and usage of electricity is sending high amounts of carbon dioxide (CO2) into the ozone layer.
