Global Poverty
Abstract
Global poverty has always been a problem in our global economy. It seemed less
noticeable earlier in history because there were not as many people. Our technology was
not as advanced to be able to get statistics and news of other countries struggling
financially. The problem has always been set aside as more pressing matters seemed to
take priority. Global poverty is everyone’s problem and should not be set aside just
because it may not affect one’s life directly right this instant. This paper covers the biggest
problems that we currently have and the actions that we have taken and can take to lessen
the effect of global poverty. With the population continuously growing and not taking a
seriously look into this problem will only set the global economy back. There has to be
many changes in our thoughts and hearts to work together in order to fully vanquish global
poverty.

low, life to be death, light to be dark. Personally I do believe that the rich will continue to
get richer and the poor, poorer. In order to support my beliefs, I will be covering the topics
of our current problems, the possible solutions and the endgame. All these topics will mesh
together well in order to paint a bigger picture of what we can individually do to slow
down the areas of poverty around the world.
The biggest problems currently that are causing global poverty are the decisions that
people make who actually has the power to change and be heard. There are still so many
corrupt leaders, governments and organizations that strive to make more profit from what
they already have. It all comes down to personal gain and greed that shape the well-being
of that nation. Some countries mostly in Africa have been left in a horrible economy
