The famous person my parents may have known as a famous person was the Honorable George
Cadle Price. Although he was Prime Minister he wasn’t famous for all people during that time
period. My parents admired him for his Humbleness. They also admired him for his persistence
to obtain Independence.
Pastries that my mother used to eat were mostly homemade sweets. For example, ‘Dulce de
Calabaza’. Other tasty treats my mother ate were sweet that her mother which was my
grandmother made were sweets like fudge and ‘Dulce de Camote’. Due to the fact that they were
not financially stable meaning they were poor. My mother with her other sibling helped their
mother to make the sweets so that they enjoy eating it.
