Genomic Sequencing
For my future career, I am planning on learning the medical billing and coding industry. Growing
up in a small town, with limited employment opportunities, I feel the medical industry will always be a
safe career to get into. For my project, I choose the genomic sequencing industry because the future
depends on revolutionizing our genetic structure.
Genomics is the study of knowing exactly what an organisms’ unique genetic structure is made
of. Everything has a code of information that makes that organism different from one another. The
genomic sequencing industry is rapidly growing and expanding to areas such as agriculture and medicine.
