Holocaust Genocide
The Holocaust Genocide was one of the worst Genocides that the world has every seen,
there was around 6,844,040 Jewish people who were killed in the Holocaust Genocide. These
people were killed primarily because Adolf Hitler hated the Jewish people just because they were
different and did not look the same as he did or did not think the same ways that he thought.
While many Jewish people were killed in the Holocaust there were few amounts of people who
survived it and who are still living today and have been telling their stories of the tragic and
horrific events that they experience while in one or even many concentration camps. Many
Americans today know what the Holocaust is but very few of these Americans know the true
horrors of what actual happened in the concentration camps.
In September of 1939 many of the Germans had invaded the western half of Poland, and
as soon as the Germans had invaded Poland, they had forced many of the Polish Jews into
Ghettos, which were a sort of community that all Jewish people stayed at before going onto the
trains to a concentration camp. When more and more Jewish people had been put into these
Ghettos many people had been dying of diseases due to overpopulated areas or they had died
from starvation sense the food supplies to these ghettos were slim to none. When the time came
in the fall of 1939 the Jewish people were sent to the concentration camps and if they had a
mental illness or disabled, they were sent right away to the gas chambers where they were gassed

to death. In June 1941 there had been many experiments done on Jewish people who were held
in Auschwitz and these experiments were not a medical experiment to help save these Jewish
people, these experiments were killing experiments to see how long it would take for the Jewish
people who were the people being experimented on to die. All of these horrific events all took
place in the Holocaust Genocide against the Jewish people and many of these Jewish people had
died however there were very few of them who had survived it and who have been coming
forward one by one to talk about and be interviewed to explain to people who don’t know what it
was actually like to have to go through all of these horrific events.
One of very few survivors still alive today had came forward and was willing to share her
story of the horrific events of the Holocaust that she had to experienced, Eva Schloss is a Jewish
