Assignment 2:
Scenario/Facts:
Luke works for ABC Company who has been tasked to develop land for an
adult entertainment store nearby a pre-existing residential property. ABC Company
made it clear to Luke that all information regarding the project is confidential until
the company makes a public announcement in a month.
Issue:
Luke’s brother, Owen lives in the neighborhood right next to where the adult
entertainment store will be. Owen recently told Luke that he would like to sell his
house but he doesn’t know when the right time would be. Luke knows that the adult
entertainment store will drastically decrease the property value of the
neighborhood but he is also aware of his obligations of confidentiality to ABC
Company.
