Gender Discrimination in the Workplace
Gender discrimination in the work place has been a hot topic, especially in recent times.
Although it is thought to be a thing of the past, it would be a mistake for one to think that
gender discrimination is not an issue now. While there may be more laws to protect
discrimination, there is no doubt that it is still an issue. Another thing to note, is that many
people think gender discrimination only applies to women, however, it can and does happen
just as easily to men.
Regarding gender discrimination in the workplace, this can apply to current employees as
well as potential applicants. According to workplacefairness.org, gender discrimination, while
applicable to both sexes, predominantly happens to women. Women often feel the need to
