To Spend or Not To Spend
Saving money has always been a challenge in today’s culture, especially when there are
several factors influencing decisions to rationally think through the real question of ‘needs verses
wants’. Society will try to sell a particular item or service in order to convince customers that
they really need it and eventually will fall into the marketing trap without even knowing it. It is
vital as Christians to know how to budget their money and know how to spend appropriately
depending on the situation and if it is within their means. With help using scripture, this paper
will look at the aspects of budgeting, spending and saving through a Christian perspective.
There are several different types of budgeting and all involve precise planning and
