Cosmology is the study of universe as a whole and the founda$on of modern cosmology is that
at one point in the past all the universe existed in one area. The Big Bang Theory was created to
understand and explain how the universe came to be formed.
According to the Big Bang Theory about 15 million years ago there was a giant explosion that
pushed all ma+er in space outward and as the ma+er cooled it created the universe that exists today.
Prior to the Big Bang all ma+er of space existed in one spot in space and this extremely violent explosion
started the expanse of the universe.
There have been discoveries made that have helped to support this theory but the Big Bang is
still just a theory as to how the universe came to be. The origin of the Big Bang Theory can be credited
