I. Henrietta is the Vice President of HR for an oil-drilling & pollution control company. She
has a leader in senior management, Steve, who is transitioning genders and will be
known as Stephanie going forward. She has another leader, Alex, who is not accepting
of Steve’s transition & found out about by Henrietta accidentally leaving his transition
paperwork on his desk.
II. My personal thoughts would be, Steve, can do whatever makes him happiest as long as
he’s not doing anything illegal or harmful to the company. I also would hope his peers
would keep their personal opinions to themselves and not bring it into the workplace.
