river. George Washington was ordered to get the French out of the Pennsylvania woods, but the
Indians were not going to allow them to do so. Britain did not know that the Indians were
assisting the French which caused Britain to be defeated in their first attempt The Britain
convinced some of the fellow Indians to side with them and were walking through the woods
with the at least 200 Indians. There was a battle that took place called the “Bloody Moring
Scout”, from which the Indians that were assisting French ambushes the Britain colonial. The
battle lasted all day and the British were able to get the French to retreat but their colony was
very tired and stayed at the lake for four years. The Indians weren’t too worried with the war but
were more worried about getting the white settlers off the land that they considered their own.
They would take captives to frighten the settlers and make them leave they also took the captives
so that they could replace the warriors that were killed in the battle.
