Here’s are a little bit opinion from me about how government in Indonesia handle this pandemic
situation.
First of all the cpvid 19 pandemic has spread with alarming speed, infecting millions and bringing
economic activity to a near standstill as countries imposed tight restrictions on movement to halt the
spread of the virus. But the increasing number of the covid 19 case can be reduce with a right and
proper handling. But the thing is, Indonesia has the worst handling In this paqndemic situation. First,
people in government manipulate the data to the WHO, they only show the number of case that
happened only in Jakarta not in around Indonesia, because of that WHO claimed that Indonesia are in a
good standard of handling this pandemic they manipulate the data so people would see Indonesia as a
good country of handling this covid 19 situation.
Second, the lack of action towards PSBB policy makes some people can’t and won’t obey the rules. And
bringing the “New Normal Era” too fast ,because of that the case of the covid 19 increased everyday not
only a few case but they can increase to hundreds even thousands of new case in daily basis.
Because of this high case situation, somehow government bringing back the PSBB policy again which it’s
kinda too late for everything that already happened in here. Besides because we already had our new
normal era and a lot of people probably just started to open their new business or probably they regain
their profit after months of struggling to maintain their company because of the PSBB situation. And
now they want to shut it down again by giving them the “ PSBB Batch 2 “ I don think that’s a wise
decision, even from the beginning because their lack of action towards this situation it actually makes a
lot of people even the government in a bad situation.
