While America is normally the epitome of “Free Trade”, President Trump’s
latest scandal of creating up to 25% tariffs is one of the most dangerous
situations we have faced in regard to our exports/imports. Not only is he
threatening to disband NAFTA, an over 200-year agreement between all of
North America that hasn’t been ratified in the last 24 years, he is also
endangering our trade relations with the European Union. Germany has
already set an embargo on United States goods if Trump does not pull back
his tariff threats. Trump is treading very carelessly on his relations to a
multitude of countries around the world due to his egotistical ways of
thinking, and his expectations the world will easily follow his demands. More
or less, Trump thinks he is the “cool kid”, and is about to very publicly be shot
