I have compared three programs in my homework. These programs are single-process, multi-process and multi-
thread programs. Shared memory is used in the programs, in which read and write rates are reduced and the
processor timing is kept ahead.
In the written program, since a matrix cannot perform two operations at the same time, that is, a matrix
operation is very dependent on the operation to be performed, so the operating times are very close to each
other.
In order to reach more balanced values in the above graph, each program is run five times for each data and
averages of the values for each program are taken.
As can be seen in the graph, each program in the small data gives very close results. However, when working
with larger data, it is observed that single-process is slower than multi-process and multi-thread.
